And then I found out today that my friends, The Brothers Nee, are friends with these fellows and happened to direct this music video for them. Of course, all this makes me just a couple of degrees away from cool.

Even if their latest album was a bust, the Avett Brothers still write some good stuff.

This is a call to arms for Austin, Justin, Polly, Aaron, Beth, Jess, Amy, Josh, and a cute, brown haired, green eyed girl.

As any decent designer would do, I decided to blatantly copy/rip off her style. Imitation is the highest form of flattery, right? I was noticing the word “yeah” could be easily and simply made into an ambigram and thought the thin stroke style would make for a quick, good side project to distract myself from signage design. I am fascinated by ambigrams, but lack the skills to turn words or phrases into such. So, I’ll consider this a tiny victory.

I want to talk and dream about this burger all night. Why have I never thought to put mozzarella sticks on a burger before? Some genius deserves a raise and a week off with pay.
How happy I will be, if when I close my eyes in death, they open again and I am surrounded by passed-on loved ones and a room full of these glorious culinary creations.
